Thermal paste serves to improve the transfer of waste heat between the chip and the heat sink. Even the application can degenerate into a mess. The chip surface and the contact surface of the heat sink must be thoroughly cleaned before new paste can be applied. The NA-SCW1 is a cleaning cloth and was developed by Noctua to remove the residues of thermal grease on the contact surfaces as quickly and cleanly as possible.
This set contains 20 pieces individually packaged NA-CW1-Cleaning wipes, moistened with a special active ingredient solution for easy and efficient removal of thermal paste. The cloths are generously sized with a size of 12 x 15 centimeters and are suitable for cleaning CPUs, GPUs and the contact surfaces of heat sinks.
