Modern Aesthetic with Enhanced Airflow
The Kolink Observatory HF Plus features a sleek, modern design with a full-tempered glass front panel and side ventilation. The tempered glass not only adds a premium look but also showcases the internal components of your gaming rig, especially with the inclusion of ARGB lighting. The side ventilation allows natural airflow, contributing to optimal cooling performance. Additionally, the side panel is hinged for easy access, making installation or upgrades hassle-free. The case also comes with six pre-installed ARGB/PWM fans in both 120mm and 140mm sizes, mounted on the front, top, and rear panels, ensuring robust airflow to keep your system cool during intense gaming sessions.
Hardware Compatibility and Versatility
The Kolink Observatory HF Plus supports a variety of motherboard form factors including ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of gaming builds. It also offers compatibility with modern, high-performance GPUs, with a clearance of up to 330mm, allowing users to install even the largest graphics cards. The case is equipped with seven expansion slots for PCIe devices, which is more than sufficient for multi-GPU setups or additional PCIe accessories. For storage, the HF Plus comes with four drive bays—two that support both 2.5” and 3.5” drives and two dedicated 2.5” SSD bays, providing ample room for fast storage solutions.
Efficient Cooling System
Despite the six pre-installed ARGB/PWM fans, the Kolink Observatory HF Plus offers room for additional cooling components. The front panel supports up to three 120mm or 140mm fans or a 360mm radiator, providing ample space for additional cooling hardware like liquid cooling solutions. The top panel can accommodate two 120mm or 140mm fans, while the PSU shroud has mounting options for up to two additional 120mm fans. The rear panel supports one 120mm fan or a 120mm radiator, ensuring versatile cooling options. Moreover, the case includes a 160mm clearance for CPU coolers, making it compatible with even the largest air coolers.
Connectivity and User Experience
The front I/O panel of the Kolink Observatory HF Plus is designed to provide convenient access to essential ports and controls. It includes one USB 3.0 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, and an HD audio jack for your audio devices. The panel also includes power and reset buttons, with fan control options available via the reset button or through a 3-pin ARGB cable on the lead fan. The thoughtful cable management design and inclusion of filters ensure that the interior remains tidy, improving airflow and reducing dust buildup over time.
