The AMD B450 is an entry-level chipset and supports Ryzen 3000 to Ryzen 5000 processors based on the Zen 2 and Zen 3 architecture. Unlike the AMD B550 and X570 chipsets, the B450 does not support PCIe 4.0. Mainboards with AB450 chipsets, on the other hand, support PCIe 3.0 and offer casual gamers, and office and home users a reliable basis for their PC.
